This week the Year 8s have taken over the editing of the newsletter...

A CHAT WITH OUR HEADMASTER

Kyrylo and I were given the chance to interview our Headmaster. We decided to ask him a couple of questions and hear his thoughts.

When Mr Brown was asked, "How does it feel to be ‘interviewed’?”

His response was, “(chuckle) I’m quite relaxed. Always happy to share thoughts with Year 8 Pupils.”

I followed up with, “What has been the best moment of the week, or the previous week?”

Mr Brown pauses and thinks, “I don’t know about the best moment. Hmm, I think I would say, (laughs) being in the stocks (on Saturday) and a somewhat gleeful Maya Loder throwing a sponge at my face!”

We followed up with, “Have you been following the sports recently?”

Mr Brown was quite quick with an answer, “Well obviously there is the (Champions League final) match between Liverpool and Real Madrid, so I have been following that. I am a big tennis fan so I watched Zverev beat Thiem in the Madrid Open.” and when asked about the 2018 Football World Cup in Russia, “Ohh, is that this year? Hmm, well I heard a bit about the troublesome fans. I just want it to be beautiful football.”

To finish the ‘interview’ we asked him 3 quickfire questions, “What is your favourite film, song and book?”

After some thought, “For song I would say Moonage Daydream by David Bowie. There are so many films: I would say Blade Runner - the original. And for book, Great Gatsby.”
