Parents and Friends of Handcross Park
Family is integral to the values of Handcross Park and we frequently welcome parents and guardians to school. Whether it is for formal meetings such as parent consultations, special occasions like our Year 8 dinner, Prize Giving or weekly match teas after cheering on sports teams.

Friends of Handcross Park (FHXP)
The Friends of Handcross Park is a friendly association of Handcross Park parents helping each other, having fun and supporting our very special school. The Friends Representatives, who are all parents, are here to help and to ensure that all parents get the most from the School.
Each year group has Year Reps. The role of the Reps is to welcome new parents into the Handcross Park community. In addition, these invaluable volunteers maintain a class contact list to aid parents in organising birthday parties or play dates, keep you informed of upcoming events so that you don’t miss out, arrange socials, coffee mornings, and parents nights out.
There are a large number of fun school activities throughout the year, such as the bonfire party, ball, quiz night, discos and the Christmas gift fair. FHXP events have helped make lasting memories and friendships for our school community. These events and other efforts have enabled FHXP in recent years to help provide the funds for a Print Making Press for the new Art and Design Centre, Cricket Scoreboards and a new PA System.
Anyone is welcome to get involved and all help is warmly received and much appreciated! It doesn’t matter how much or how little time you have to offer, FHXP welcomes each and every parent’s participation.
If you’d like more information, or to volunteer your time, please email the Chair of FHXP at [email protected]
