Dear Parents,

Year 8 Common Entrance Results

I am so pleased that all our Year 8 pupils have passed their Common Entrance exams and they have secured places at their senior schools. They have all worked so hard this year and we are very proud of all their academic achievements. The year group has also achieved 21 scholarships in a variety of areas and this is testament to their application and commitment and the support and guidance from Handcross Park – well done.

I would also like to highlight the variety of senior schools that we feed and that just shows that we are committed to finding the right school for the right child. This is always based on the ‘ability and potential of the child’‘the priorities of the parents’, and ‘the advice and experience of Handcross Park.’ A team effort as always.

The Year 8 pupils have now embarked on their exciting post CE programme. The Blacklands Farm adventure was a little wet this week but, when I visited on Tuesday, they still had smiles on their faces as they dangled from trees on the high ropes course – fantastic!

Well done to all Year 8!
